Hey, I’m John — a freelance designer with 20 years of experience creating brands, websites and visual identities that make an impact.

I specialise in graphic design, branding, web design and experiential design, working with businesses, organisations and creative teams to create work that looks good and works well.

Over the years, I’ve worked with award-winning agencies around the world, creating web and digital design for brands including Nando’s, Irn-Bru and The Famous Grouse, as well as a mix of startups, businesses and household names.

I’ve also created brand identities for NTTP, KubeCraft and Surfers Against Sewage. And when a brand needs to come to life beyond the screen, I’ve designed experiential branding for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Thomson Gray and Havas Lynx — from physical spaces and environments to campaigns and experiences (including a double decker bus).

These days, I work directly with founders, companies and creative teams, bringing two decades of agency experience to projects of all shapes and sizes.
