70 YEARS OF FRINGE
I designed the branding for the 70th Edinburgh Fringe… including a double-decker bus! Edinburgh is at the heart of global Fringes and in effect all roads lead back to it. Based on the sweeping lines of a thumbprint and city streets, I took the names of all the Fringe cities around the world and wrapped them around the heart – Edinburgh. This identity uses my real handwriting and map-like dotted lines to join all those countries together.
The identity was used on tickets, billboards and merchandise Edinburgh during the festival.
