I have had a passion for design from a young age, so after graduating with a 2:1 in Graphic Design from Leeds University I worked as a successful freelance design agent whilst enjoying numerous work placements. I then spent 4 months travelling around the world, before settling into roles as a designer in some fantastic design agencies. The continuation of my freelance work, coupled with the invaluable experience gained through working in a variety of design studios have made me the designer I am today.

I am quick to grasp new concepts and ideas and can be relied upon to develop innovative solutions to problems. I am personable, confident and work well with others, both on a personal level and within a team; I always achieve set objectives with the best possible results. Design is my hobby as well as my profession; if I’m not working on clients’ projects, I focus on my own artwork.

I learned a great deal about digital design and was involved in some fantastic projects with some superb clients.

I worked at the Ink Tank for year and I gained invaluable experience from this position. I enjoyed the diversity of working on both print and web and worked on some really enjoyable briefs.

Awards and Recognition

Finalist at the Stuart Hocknell Yorkshire Student Design Awards 2004 at Brahm Ltd, Leeds.

The logo I made for Oddtails shown on Faveup Gallery (August 2008).

The logo I designed for the Made in Bunch rebranding challenge, was chosen to appear in the book they produced about the project (2008).

Exhibitions

My final University project was chosen to be shown at the 2004 annual D&AD New Blood exhibition in London.
